Canadian Tour Tournament results (22/07/13)

The iconic punk rock song "Anarchy in the U.K." begins to play throughout the arena as the lights dim and a strobe spotlight points to the entrance. Chris Madison stands still with his back towards the ring.

Right!

Now!

*evil laugh*

The lights come back on as Madison spins around and spits a mist of water into the air and then lets out a roar. The fans smother him with a mixed reaction of cheering his name and showering him with boos. His eyes affixed towards the ring as the crowd begins to sing along with the entrance song.

I am an anit-christ!
I am an anarchist!

Madison marches down to the ring avoiding the hands of the fans which are draped over the barrier. Madison makes it to the steel steps before entering the ring and stands at the foot of the steps pumping his fist in the air to the tune.

Cause I!
I Wanna be!
Anarchy!

Madison slams both fists down on top of the steps sending a boom through the first few rows of the arena and then climbs into the ring. He pounds his chest twice before letting out one final roar

Mikey: This is one highly anticipated match. I honestly have no idea which man will come out of this on top.

Clark: Match of the Year contender… Mark my words.

"Heroes from Our Past" by Dropkick Murphys brings the fans to their feet. Pat Gordon, Jr. steps through the curtain and puts up his dukes with a smile on his face. He makes his way down the aisle, giving high-fives along the way to any fans reaching out their hands.



Mikey: And we are underway!

Madison slowly gets closer to Pat with his hand in the air. Pat sees this and gets close as well to tie up. Madison drops a hard boot to Pat at the last second. Pat retaliates with a stiff forearm! Madison goes toe to toe with the attack and launches a huge right hand. It slows Pat down enough for Madison to whip Pat into the ropes. Pat rebound and goes down as Madison lands on top of him with a heavy body tackle. Madison hits multiple hard shots to the head of Pat. The crowd counts one after another...

Madison jumps off of Pat and the referee clears space between them. Pat quickly climbs to his feet and is met with Madison who is rushing toward him. Pat catches Madison in a drop toe hold. He floats over Madison's back and quickly cinches in a front headlock. Madison powers to his feet. Madison punches Pat in the gut. Pat holds the pressure as Madison tries to push Pat into the ropes. Pat doesn't allow it but takes another stiff shot to the gut. Madison grabs Pat's wrist and twists out of the headlock he uses his momentum, pulls Pat forward by his wrist and takes him down with a short arm clothesline! Madison rushes into the ropes as Pat sits up. Pat drops down again as Madison leaps over him and rebounds off the ropes a second time. Pat is on his feet and leap frogs over Madison. Madison rebounds a third time and this time slides feet first under and between Pat's legs. Pat turns around and eats a hard Exploder Suplex! Madison waits as Pat stumbles to his feet. Madison boots Pat in the gut but has his leg grabbed. Pat throws the leg sending Madison spiraling. Upon making the full 360, Pat catches Madison in the side of the head with a roundhouse!!!

Clark: That nearly took Chris Madison's head off!

Madison drops and Pat quickly goes on the offense spring boarding off of the ropes and landing a legdrop. Pat follows up with an elbow drop. Pat quickly covers.

Clark: These fans are really behind Pat Gordon JR right now, Michael.

Mikey: I couldn't agree more. These two are giving it all they got!

Pat moves in to pick Madison up and Madison counters with a hard kick to the face from the ground! Pat stumbles back as Madison jumps to his feet. Pat swings a hard clothesline but Madison ducks it and sends Pat back flipping onto his head with a snap release German Suplex! Madison yells at Pat to get up as he staggrs to his feet and is met by a running forearm.. Pat stumbles into the corner. Madison backs up and rushes in with a spear!

Mikey: Pat Gordon just rolled out of the way and avoided the spear! Chris Madison just drove his shoulder straight into that post!
As Madison pulls himself free, Pat gets behind and rushes in with a running drop kick to the rear of Madison! Madison collides hard once more into the turnbuckle. Pat yanks him backward into a schoolboy!

Kick out!

Pat gets to his feet first as Madison rises while holding his shoulder. Pat grabs Madison's wrist twists his arm into a hammerlock. Madison begins moving around to try and break the hold. Pat boots him in the leg before dropping him back on his arm with a backdrop. The crowd is roaring as Pat rushes around the ring motioning to them!

Clark: The crowd is on their feet!

Madison climbs to his feet and is nearly met with an Enziguiri. He ducks it in time and Pat flies to the floor. Madison capitalizes with a running knee to the ribs of Pat as he rises. Pat struggles to his feet and turns around only to be folded in half with an Exploder Suplex!

Mikey: Chris Madison is really on the offensive right now. Can Pat Gordon continue to go toe to toe with this beast?

Madison pulls Pat to his feet and drops him with a scoop slam. Pat slowly staggers to his feet. Madison moves in for the kill and catches Pat with the Peruvian Necktie! Madison locks it in tight as Pat desperately reaches for the ropes. Madison pulls back not allowing the break. The referee checks on Pat who shakes his head no.

Clark: Pat Gordon is in a real bad place now. This submission maneuver can be devastating when used by Chris Madison!

Pat reaches deep and inches toward the ropes. Madison shakes his head as he pulls back. The referee once again asks Pat if he wants to call the match. Pat refuses.



Pat shakes his fists and makes one last push and grabs the ropes. Madison shakes his head as the referee tries to break the hold. He can’t stop Madison so he begins the count.

Madison breaks the hold and quickly follows up with a hard elbow into the shoulder of Pat. Madison turns Pat around and nails a vertabreaker on Pat. Madison makes the cover.

Kickout!

Pat rolls onto his stomach and begins pulling himself to his feet with the aid of the ropes. Madison stalks him. Pat climbs to his feet. Madison rushes at him. Pat counters out of nowhere with a drop toe hold!

Mikey: Pat Gordon just guillotined Chris Madison!

Pat rushes into the ropes and rebounds. He runs full steam and nails a huge running Senton to the back of Madison! Madison flies backward from the momentum. Madison flails around as he grabs his throat. Pat is on the apron. Madison stumbles to his feet and takes a springboard missile dropkick! Madison drops to the ground. Pat runs into the ropes and leaps into the air. Pat nails a springboard Moonsault straight onto Madison!

Clark: Pat Gordon JR seems to suddenly be amped up by this ecstatic crowd! I can barely hear myself think.

Pat quickly makes the cover.

Pat pulls Madison up to his feet. Pat gets in from behind and NAILS the Sunday Morning Hangover! (back suplex lift into a piledriver) Madison quickly rolls out of the ring before Pat can capitalize. Pat breaths hard in the ring as he keeps his eyes set on Madison.

Madison slowly pulls himself up with the barricade. Pat gets the fans going as he rushes into the ropes. Pat rebounds off the ropes and rushes across the ring. Pat flies through the middle rope with a twisted suicide dive! Both men crash into the barricade. The referee looks on as he begins to count.

Pat pulls himself to his feet with the apron and roll into the ring.

Madison pulls himself to his feet and shakes the cobwebs out. He stumbles to the apron.

Madison climbs into the ring. He lays on his back breathing hard. Pat drops down and hooks the leg.

Mikey: These two men are going to HELL and back for this Heavyweight Championship opportunity, James.

Clark: Shut Up. I’m watching this amazing spectacle.

Pat slowly pulls Madison to his feet. Madison shoots in with a boot to the gut out of nowhere on Pat. Pat is stunned for a moment bent over forward as he is clubbed in the back. Madison pulls Pat between his legs. Madison cuts his own throat with his thumb before PLANTING Pat into the canvas with the Paralyzer! (Flipping Piledriver)

Mikey: This HAS to be it. I think Chris Madison is about to take this home!

Madison hooks the leg.

Pat gets his shoulder up JUST in time as the crowd explodes. Madison breaths heavily as he slowly rises to his feet. Madison signals for the Peruvian Necktie as Pat lies on the canvas.



Pat slowly staggers. He looks up and sees Madison. Madison closes the gap. Pat dodges out of the way of Madison and slips in behind Madison. Pat hits a second Sunday Morning Hangover! (back suplex lift into a piledriver) Pat lays an arm over Madison’s chest.

Mikey: OH MY GOD!

Pat rolls onto his back as both men lay motionless on the canvas. The referee begins the double countout.

Madison pulls himself onto the apron as Pat slowly pulls himself up with the ropes. Pat wobbles to the middle of the ring. Madison slingshots himself over the ropes and shoulder blocks Pat to the ground. Madison pulls Pat to his feet. Madison hits the Backiotomy! (Powerbomb dropped into a backstabber) Madison hooks the leg and hooks the other leg with his own leg.

Clark: That match was amazing! Pat Gordon JR may have lost in this Semi-Final match up, but he showed everybody in Canada that he is the Indy legend he has been claimed to be! This won’t be the last of Pat Gordon Jr folks.

Mikey: Congratulations to both men!

The show fades out as Chris Madison sits in the middle of the ring with his forehead in his hands as he breaths heavily on the mat. The audio is the last to fade out as the live fans around on their feet in ovation for the epic main event…
