Canadian Tour Tournament (12/08/13)

Mikey: It's now time for our first bout of the evening. Who knows which way this match will end up. We already have Dick Fury waiting in the ring. His opponent, the Indy Legend himself, Pat Gordon Jr, is on his way out now!

"Heroes from Our Past" by Dropkick Murphys brings the fans to their feet. Pat Gordon, Jr. steps through the curtain and puts up his dukes with a smile on his face. He makes his way down the aisle, giving high-fives along the way to any fans reaching out their hands.

Pat stops at ringside for a second to give away his "Pat Lock" t-shirt to a lucky little fan. Gordon then does one last lap of high-fives around the ring before scaling the steps and climbing through the ropes.

Clark: And We're under way!



Both men circle the ring as the stare each other down. They move forward and tie up. They put pressure on each other as either man sways back and forth. Pat drops to his knee and hauls Dick over with a fireman carry. He holds on and lock Dick in a side headlock. Dick hits a hard elbow to the chest. Pat holds on while both men get to their feet. Pat throws a knee to the thigh of Dick before Dick retaliates with a clean elbow to the ribs. Dick rushes forward and breaks the hold. He rebounds into the ropes and ducks a clothesline from Pat. Dick hits the ropes again and rushes toward Pat. Pat drops onto his stomach as Dick jumps over him. On the rebound, Pat jumps up for a drop kick but Dick holds onto the ropes and stops his momentum. Pat falls hard onto his back.

Clark: Smart move there by Dick Fury!

Dick rushes in and catches Pat with a hard knee to the side of the head as Pat rolls onto the apron. Pat pulls himself to his feet. Dick closes in on him and is hit with a hard right hand. Pat jumps over the ropes as Dick takes a step back. Pat snaps around and sends Dick flying with a lightning quick armdrag. Pat quickly gets to his feet and rubs into the ropes. Dick is standing tall as Pat rushes into him with a clothesline. Dick catches himself with the ropes. Pat boots him in the gut and sends him over with a quick suplex! Pat pulls Dick to his feet and cinches in a hammerlock. Pat parades around the ring as he randomly hits Dick in the shoulder. Dick grabs hold of the ropes and rolls forward and counters the lock into a hammerlock of his own. He boots Pat in the gut, positions himself and drops Pat with a back suplex. Dick cinches in a rear naked choke.

Mikey: Dick Fury looks to be slowing down the pace now.

Clark: What a back and forth we have going on here. Fury may seem like an egotistical asshole but he has the ability to back it up.

Pat manages to get to his feet but Dick jumps on his back and grapevines his legs around Pat's body. Pat reaches for the ropes and grabs it. Dick shakes his head as he refuses to let go of the hold. The referee counts.

Dick jumps off Pat's back and charges in at Pat. Pat drops to the floor and holds the ropes down with him. Dick tumbles to the outside.

Mikey: That had to hurt!

Pat is quick to his feet but is met with a baseball slide to the chest! He stumbles back into the barricade. Dick rolls out after him and tosses jim back in under the ropes. Pat begins to get to his feet as Dick climbs the ropes. Pat turns around as Dick jumps off for a flying clothesline. Pat ducks. Dick lands hand but catches his footing. Pat charges forward and nails him with a running forearm smash! Dick falls to the mat. Pat jumps on top of Dick and quickly locks in the Pat Lock II! (Crossface Chickenwing in Camel Clutch position) Dick scrambles trying to get to the ropes.

Clark: It looks pike Dick Fury could be in trouble. We could have a winner here!

Dick uses all his strength to inch toward the ropes but Pat jumps up and than down on Dick and stops him in his track. Pat begins to pull Dick back. Dick notices the opening and hooks his arm

around Pat's ankle. Dick shoves hard and sends Pat off his footing. Dick spins around and boots Pat in the gut. Dick follows up with a Northern Lights Suplex! Dick goes for the cover.

KICKOUT!

Dick pounds the mat as he gets to is feet. Pat follows him to his feet and is first to let off a striking fist before tasting one himself for good measure. Pat ducks a hard right and quickly grabs hold and cinches in a hammerlock. Pat follows up with a body slam. Pat holds the wrist of Dick and pulls him to his feet. He puts the hammerlock behind Sick and sends him back with a back suplex! Pat hooks the leg.

Kickout!

Pat pulls Dick up and sets up for the Sunday Morning Hangover (back suplex lift into piledriver) but Dick rolls out the back. Dick jumps forward and chops blocks the back of Pat's knee! Pat goes down. Dick shakes his head and walks toward the nearest corner.

Mikey: What is Dick Fury doing??

Dick unties the top turnbuckle and smirks as he begins walking around with the padding. The referee immediately grabs the padding and Dick lets go. As the referee walks to the corner, Dick rushes to the opposite side and rips off that turnbuckle instead. He chucks the pad to the outside.

Clark: This could get ugly!

Pat gets to his feet and is met by a hard kick. Dick attempts to whip Pat into the corner but Pat reverses the throw. Dick stops just in time before hitting the turnbuckle. Pat rushes forward with a corner splash. Dick dodges out of the way! Pat's face ricochets off of the top turnbuckle. Dick comes in from behind with a school boy.

Mikey: At it looks like we will be hearing from Dick Fury as to whom he has decided to take on in the semi finals next week!

Dick Fury raises his arms as he rolls to the outside in celebration of his latest win.

I Am Knife starts to play as the lights are out, white lights flash through the arena and spotlights circle. Killgrave walks out in (color varying every week) gear with a water bottle, he pours the water over his head that shines in the light, the water dripping from his body. He walks down the ramp tossing the bottle to a fan and takes a deep breath, he only hits hadnds with five lucky fans, he slides into the ring where he walks around with one arm in the air. If he is second to the ring he shakes hands with his opponent as the music stops.

Mikey: it is now time for the first of TWO Triple Threat Challenges tonight. There is a lot of heat here in this first match up and I'm sure it will be nothing less than awesome!

Lights go out as the opening tunes of "I Want It All" escape the speakers. Just as the drum beat starts, two beams of light concentrate on one spot on the ramp where Sylar Drake appears, enjoying the guitar solo of his entrance song and the reactions of the fans. He slowly makes his way to the ring, clapping hands with several fans.



He walks around the whole ring to clap hands with fans and say hello to them, before he finally enters the ring. He hands his leather jacket to the ring crew and climbs to the top turnbuckle, posing for fans.



Just as the second verse comes to an end, he jumps off the buckle prepares for the match as his music dies out.

The arena lights go down and a spotlight hits the black curtain. As the crowd rises to their feet as "Don't Trust Me" begins to play.

I got the breath of the last cigarette on my teeth,

And she's an actress (actress),

But she ain't got no need.

Shes got money from her parents in a trust fund back east.

Tongues always pressed to your cheeks,

Everyone looks on as nobody emerges from behind the curtain. The music dies out and the two men in the ring wait impatiently.

Clark: Ladies and Gentlemen it seems as though Brett Starr is boycotting his match. He claims to be expecting an apology for last week.

Mikey: He needs to grow some balls...

Ding... Ding... Ding!

Killgrave takes advantage of a confused Sylar Drake as he rushes immediately at him with a full body tackle. Sylar goes down but rolls backward back onto his feet. Killgrave backs him into the for,er and begins throwing kicks and elbows on Drake who is on the defensive. The referee tries to break them up but can't. The referee counts.

Killgrave backs away but leaps back in. Sylar meets him with a with a forearm which staggers him. Sylar climbs to the second rope and leaps off with a leaping elbow. Killgrave stumbles backward. Sylar rushes forward and meets a spinebuster by Killgrave! Killgrave grabs Sylar by the throat and yanks him to his feet and is immediately met with a kick to the gut. Sylar sends Killgrave over with a snapmare and follows up with a dropkick. Sylar makes the cover.

Kickout!

Killgrave tosses Sylar into the air as he sits,up. Sylar jumps on him with a forearm from the side. Killgrave retaliates with a hard elbow. Sylar backs off enough for Killgrave to get to his feet. Sylar closes in... And gets taken over with a belly-to-belly suplex!

Mikey: That's what you call air!

Killgrave moves forward and lands a hard knee to Sylar's side before being yanked to his feet. He takes a hard gutbuster. Killgrave with the cover.

Kickout!

Killgrave climbs onto Sylar, grabs him once again around the neck and begins choking him while flailing him on the ground. The referee warns Killgrave once again before making the count.

Killgrave gets to his feet. Sylar begins to rise but Killgrave swings in with a hard kick. Sylar latches on and pulls him over. Sylar rolls on Killgrave's back and cinches in a single leg crab!

Clark: What a reversal!

Killgrave uses his strength to pull himself toward the ropes. His fingers nearly touch when Sylar grabs hold and pulls him back to the middle of the ring and floats over, turning the submission into an STF!

Mikey: Sylar is really bringing the fight to Killgrave! What a competitor!

Killgrave struggles and nearly taps his hand. He balls his,fiat and gets his arm in range. He begins swinging and Sylar lets go. He rolls to his feet and springboard into the ropes. Killgrave rises and is met by a huge impact DDT! Killgrave stumbles to his feet and is met by an Infinity Kick! (Jumping Kenka Kick) Sylar with the cover!

Kickout!

Sylar slams his fist and pulls Killgrave to his feet. Killgrave spins around with a backfist, catching him off guard. Killgrave jumps in and hits an exploder suplex! Sylar is down as Killgrave yells to the crowd. He is showered in boos. Killgrave begins to pull Sylar to his feet. Sylar with the small package!

Killgrave kicks out just in time.

Clark: That was close!

Killgrave is on his feet as is Sylar. Killgrave throws a wild clothesline but Sylar ducks it. Sylar with a release German Suplex! Sylar jumps up and drops an elbow on Killgrave.

Mikey: These two men have been tearing each other apart! Both of them know what this match means and they are pulling out all the stops to try and win!

Clark: This is what Canadian X Pro is all about!

Drake and Killgrave pick themselves off the mat and move Killgrave moves in to lock up with Sylar but gets met with a vicious kick to the gut. Drake runs to the ropes and lands a dropkick right to Killgrave's temple, dropping him to the mat in a heap. The fans go wild as Drake climbs the ropes.

Clark: He's looking to put it away right here!

Drake hits the Divinity Dive (Imploding 450 Splash) and moves in for the pin! The referee counts as the crowd starts to buzz in excitement.

Drake gets pulled off of Killgrave out of no where. Sylar stands up and turns around only to be met by a The Rising Starr (Jumping Spinning Sitout Shoulder Jawbreaker)! Drake rolls out of the ring and falls to the mat unconscious. The crowd boos loudly as Brett Starr stands in the middle of the ring with a smirk on his face.

Mikey: That's Brett Starr! He just ran in from the crowd!!!

Starr puts his foot on Killgrave's chest and the referee counts.

Mikey: This is a travesty! He wasn't even in this match!

Clark: This is a great strategy! He let them destroy each other and now he is picking up the scraps!

The referee calls for the bell as the fans boo lustily.

Dipsy Doo: Here is your winner... Brettt Starrrr!

Brett exits the ring as Sylar enters it. He looks at Starr with an angry look on his face. Brett simply chuckles and shrugs his shoulders. He makes a wiping motion to his shoulder.

Clark: Brett Starr just stole that victory away from Sylar Drake. This just seems wrong!

Seth Moore is already in the ring as the crowd begins to settle.

Dream on by Aerosmith plays on the speakers Leon Stone walks to the ring dressed in knee length, loose wrestling trunks. They are burnt orange with black seams. Damien Baine is dressed in jeans and a Flux in Motion T-shirt As they pass the fans they shake hands and give high fives, When some people boo Leon smiles at them and nods. Chelsea Stone walks by his side, addressing the fans much like her brother. When they get to the ring, Leon stand in the center, looks at one of the Warped's many W logos that surround the arena, and he nods, he walks to each corner of the ring and raises his fist, he yells at the crowd to get pumped, and finally walking to the center of the ring he grabs two purple velvet sack from his pockets and unties the golden string. He spreads his arms out palms up and waits merely a second before his palms turn and he pours the sand from the sacks, some floats away in the air, most falls onto the mat. He quietly and calmly walks to his corner. His partner Damien and little sister Chelsea support him from outside the ring.

The two men watch the curtain, waiting for their opponent. Dipsy Doo quickly climbs up onto the apron.

Dipsy Doo: Ladies and Gentlemen, due to contractual issues with Silus Brueck after the vicious slap he imposed on Mr. Travis valour, this match up will now be a one on one match up.

Seth Moore walks over to Dipsy Doo in confusion. He is suddenly taken off guard will a roll up by Leon Stone. Leon pins him down tight!

Dipsy Doo: Here is your winner... LEONNN STONEEE!

Leon rolls out of the ring with a large smirk on his face. He chuckles as he turns around and walks to the back. Seth Moore sits on his knees in disappointment in the middle of the ring.

Mikey: OH MY GOD! Leon Stone just literally humiliated Seth Moore right there in that ring. He has just gained the title for quickest loss in Canadian X! He was caught off guard in yet another issue with these controversial Triple Threats.

Clarke: Regardless, Leon Stone has confirmed his spot in the Triple Threat at the Tour Finale. This should be interesting. Warped at its best I would say.

"Rock Star" begins to play and out from the back walks Johnny Moxie. He pauses for a moment with his hands on his hips as the crowd boos him mercilessly. Shaking his head, he makes his way down to ringside and climbs up onto the apron. He hops over the top rope, lands on his feet and promptly bows to the crowd, which only gets him more boos. He finally waves off the fans' reactions, snickers and shoots the shit with the referee as he backs up into his corner and gets ready for the match.

Mikey: Well this match may possibly be our match of the night. It promises to be an epic battle between two men who hate each other.

As 'Get Up!' by Korn feat. Skrillex blasts through the arena, the lights dim and crimson spotlights scan the crowd, finally spotting The Dark Spyder IV as he makes his way down to ringside through the fans. He makes his way down, jumps the barrier, and slides into the ring...



Spyder and Moxie jump on each other from the get go. They knock each other to the ground and begin rolling around throwing wild swings at each other. The referee interjects and splits them apart. Spyder begins pacing around the ring as Moxie takes his time getting up.

Mikey: You can really taste the dislike for each other in this match, James.

When Moxie gets to his feet, Spyder leaps forward with a jumping kick which Moxie rolls away from. The referee backs up nearly taking the hit. Moxie catches Spyder’s foot as he swings it in Moxie’s direction. Moxie reverses the momentum and nails Spyder with a spinning heel kick of his own. Spyder drops but springs up and is met by a dropkick from Moxie. Spyder rolls backward and into the ropes as Moxie follows. Spyder rushes forward and barrel rolls at Moxie’s feet. Moxie leaps over and rebounds on the ropes. Spyder catches him in an armdrag. Moxie rolls through and onto his feet. He rebounds once again is met by a dropkick from Spyder! Spyder quickly follows up with a springboard Moonsault as Moxie is down. Moxie lifts his knee but Spyder lands on his feet on top of Moxie’s knees. Spyder backflips off and follows through turning it into a flipping dropkick. Moxie clenches his side as he quickly rolls to the outside. Spyder raises his arms into the air as the crowd is on their feet.

Clark: What a start! These two are matching each other move for move!

Moxie stays outside until the three count. Spyder dares him to climb in and Moxie obliges. Spyder waits for Moxie to rise to his feet and rushes in. Moxie attempts a clothesline but Spyder slides behind and lifts Moxie up and drops him on his knee for a Backbreaker! Spyder pulls him to his feet and floats Moxie over with a suplex! Spyder doesn’t let go and pivots his hips. He gets to his feet and pulls Moxie up with him. Spyder sends him over with another suplex! Spyder once again pulls Moxie to his feet. He pulls him up for a suplex. Moxie rolls out the back and wraps his arms around Spyder’s waist and clenches his wrists. Moxie sends him over for a German Suplex. He floats himself over for the cover.

Moxie quickly rises to his feet and meets Spyder with a hard knee to the chest. Spyder fights threw and pushes Moxie into the corner. Moxie fights back with multiple right hands. Spyder wraps his arms around Moxie and throws him with an exploder suplex! Spyder climbs to the top rope and launches himself off with a moonsault! Spyder makes the cover.

Moxie rolls onto his stomach and Spyder begins to lock in a cross armbar. Moxie yells in pain but continues to try to fight through it. He inches slightly to the ropes. The ropes are too far. The referee checks on Moxie. Moxie shakes his head. Moxie howls and reverses the holding into a roll up on Spyder!

SPYDER REALIZES AND KICKS OUT!

Moxie retreats to the corner as Spyder rises to his feet. Spyder rushes in on Moxie. Moxie leaps to the second rope and flips over Spyder. Spyder turns around and eats an Enziguiri! Moxie follows up with a standing Moonsault! Moxie springs to his feet and springboards off of the ropes and executes a double rotation Moonsault from the ropes! Spyder rolls off of the apron and Moxie holds his chin.

Clark: I think Johnny Moxie face planted from that Moonsault!

Mikey: Who cares, look at Spyder! He’s pretty worse for wear on the outside!

Moxie gets to his feet and looks to the outside. Spyder is slowly stumbling to his feet with the help of the barricade. Moxie rushes into the ropes and hits the rebound. He rushes across the ring and leaps over the top rope with a Suicide Senton! He hits his mark as Spyder and himself crash into the Barricade! The crowd is on fire.

HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Moxie stumbles to his feet and begins kicking Spyder. Spyder slowly retaliates with a handful of right hand. Both men are on their feet and Moxie hits a hard elbow on Spyder. Spyder stumbles and tastes snap DDT.

Moxie climbs on top of Spyder’s back and begins throwing clubbing blows to the back of Spyder’s neck. He hits his mark a few times before Spyder manages to push him off. Spyder is on his feet and counters an oncoming Moxie with a jumping knee!

Moxie stumbles into the barricade. Spyder leaps forward with a clothesline. Moxie goes over the barricade. He stumbles to his feet and is grabbed by the hair. Spyder smashes Moxie’s face off the barricade!

Spyder pulls Moxie up and on top of the barricade. Spyder is up as well. Spyder sets Moxie up and leaps off with him. Spyder and Moxie go down as Spyder executes a DEVISTATING SPYDER'S BITE! (Inverted Belly-to-Belly Lungblower) Moxie rolls around in agony as Spyder grabs hold of his chest.

Clark: Holy hell I think that move just destroyed both men in the process. That had to have hurt so freaking bad!

Spyder climbs to his feet and yanks Moxie up to his feet. Moxie can barely stand as Spyder begins throwing hard punches to Moxie’s face.

Spyder rolls Moxie into the ring. Moxie lies on his back. Spyder slowly scales to the top rope. The referee is checking on Moxie when suddenly the crowd explodes in boos.

Mikey: What the hell is going on here? That’s Eric Steel. Why is he out here?

Eric quickly rushes to the ring and leaps onto the apron. He yanks on Spyder’s ankle causing him to crash down and crotch himself on the top rope. Eric jumps off of the apron and walks around the ring as Moxie stumbles to his feet. He sees Spyder dangling on the top rope and grabs him by the neck. He pulls Spyder out until his is barely on the top rope and drops him with a huge spike DDT! Spyder is down as Moxie scales the ropes. He signals for the end and leaps off for the In-Mox-Ication! (Corkscrew somersault legdrop from the top rope.) Moxie makes the cover!

Moxie’s music hits as he rolls out of the ring. He watches Eric as he makes his way to the backstage.

Mikey: And we will be seeing Johnny Moxie in the semi-finals next week! Only one more Qualifying match to go… I’m excited!

Eric Steel gets into the face of the downed Spyder from ringside. He hollers in Spyder’s face.

Steel: I promised an Impact! I took you out of this tournament! How’s that for an impact!

We cut backstage as Eric continues to holler.

The camera is following Eric Steel as he is stalking out of the arena. The man behind the camera tries to keep up.

Cameraman: Eric! Eric Steel! Why did you attack Spyder during his Qualifying match this evening? He almost had the match won against Johnny Moxie. Why would you do that?

Eric doesn't look toward the camera and keeps walking.

Eric: I promised an Impact. Spyder's my impact. I threw one of the favourites to win the World Championship out fo the tournament and changed the landscape. How's that for an impact?

Cameraman: You know that now you take on Greyson Blaze and Spyder in a Triple Threat match next week now, don't you?

Eric: Who gives a damn. I'm going to win it all.

We cut to ringside as Eric Steel exits the arena.
