Character Info
Name: Frank Washington
Nickname(s): (The) Revolutionary, (The) Revolutionary Turncoat, The Benedict Arnold of Professional Wrestling
Height: 6ft
Weight: 233lbs
Hometown: Now residing in San Jose, California
Contract: Full Time
Alignment: Heel
Wrestling Style: Hybrid – While Frank primarily works a technical and dirty style of wrestling he can certainly adopt to a hardcore environment when necessary and has done so in the past. In big matches he’s been known pull out a high risk move or two (generally dives to the outside, moonsaults, etc) as a throwback to his early days in professional wrestling.
Ring Psychology and Logic:
Wrestling Logic: Outwrestle and outsmart the opponent. Exploit any injuries/openings the opponent has be it legally or illegally and try to capitalize. When applying a submission hold he’ll look to gain leverage usually by use of the ropes or aid of a tag team partner when the referee’s back is turned. On top of this he’ll take liberty with the referee’s 5 count to break the hold, looking to inflict as much damage as possible. Take any advantage he can get fair or otherwise to turn the momentum in his favour. Always aware of his surroundings and his placement in the ring Frank will slip his hand or foot on or under the bottom rope to break a pin.
Strengths: Frank is fast in the ring and always aware of his surroundings. He is also good at wrestling a technical style, picking apart his opponent methodically with surgeon-like precision. Frank will certainly take advantage of dirty tactics when he’s able to get away with it. Difficult to make tap out he’ll try to make any effort to escape the hold unless there is no other choice but to tap. Able to adapt and innovate, he can adjust to the situation at hand, and in a hardcore environment, find new or interesting ways to use the weapons at hand. Frank is also resilient and isn’t one to go down easily.
Weaknesses: At 6ft, he is at a disadvantage against the bigger wrestlers on the roster and can be out powered by them due to their size advantage. He can also take risks in a match which could end up costing him. Also he can become impatient when he can’t put an opponent away, usually in a big match situation, and will argue with the ref, giving his opponent precious moments to recover. In a contest of power, he’ll lose the battle of brute strength against a powerhouse wrestler, preferring to stick to his own speed and technical abilities.
Entrance Music: “Re-Education (Through Labor)” by Rise Against
Entrance Description -:
"Re-Education (Through Labor) by Rise Against resonates from the PA system as jet of smoke erupts on the stage as the lights dim.
To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away
To the rhythm of the awful rusty machines
We toss and turn but don't sleep
Each breath we take makes us thieves
Like causes without rebels
Just talk but promise nothing else
Frank Washington emerges from behind the smoke with his back turned and his arms outstretched wide. He slowly turns around revealing a smirk on his face as he points to himself several times before raising his arm pointing high.
We crawl on our knees for you
Under a sky no longer blue
We sweat all day long for you
But we sow seeds to see us through
'cause sometimes dreams just don't come true
We wait to reap what we are due
He lowers his arm and makes his way down the entrance ramp in a slow methodical fashion absorbing the atmosphere of the raucous crowd packing the arena tonight.
Sonia Adams: Making his way to the ring, now residing in San Jose, California weighing 233lbs he is the Revolutionary Turncoat, Frank Washington!
To the rhythm of a time bomb ticking away
And the blare of the sirens combing the streets
Chased down like dogs we run from
Your grasp until the sun comes up
He then pauses near the end of the ramp, pointing to himself as he can be heard saying "Looking out for Number One!" He backs off for a moment before sprinting towards the ring as he slides in under the bottom rope.
"We crawl on our knees for you
Under a sky no longer blue
We sweat all day long for you
But we sow seeds to see us through
'cause sometimes dreams just don't come true
Look now at what they've done to you
White needles buried in the red
The engine roars and then it gives
But never dies
'cause we don't live
We just survive
On the scraps that you throw away
Frank Washington then gets up and approaches the turnbuckle as he climbs up on the second rope pausing for a moment as he again soaks in the atmosphere created by the CanX faithful as he outstretches his arms wide to pose. After a few moment's pause he descends the turnbuckle taking his coat off and turns his attention to the ring.
Appearance (out of the ring): Generally he'll wear a pair of jeans, black nikes, and a Jokers Wild t-shirt.
Detailed Appearance (In the ring): Generally wears Black/Silver or Silver/Black wrestling trunks with the Jokers Wild logo on the back of the trunks. Finally he wears a Red Coat to the ring during his entrance and for matches he’s at ringside.

Brief Bio: Frank Washington found success in early 2007 wrestling in an Indy promotion in Stockton, California where he not only captured his first championship but would become a double champion before the promotion shut its doors. From there he joined various promotions in New York, Knoxville, and Connecticut just to name a few managing to find success in nearly every promotion he stepped foot in gaining a reputation for putting on great matches win or lose. In 2008 he truly began to find his stride as the “Revolutionary Turncoat” from his heinous betrayal in favor of Devastation Inc. before taking time away from wrestling to heal nagging injuries and pursue other interests. He would return once again to professional wrestling at the beginning of 2010, catching fire with the “Revolutionary Turncoat” gimmick by further cementing his unpredictability and willingness to turn on his longtime friend at the drop of a dime, Robert Garland, all in the name of furthering his own career in what was potentially the hottest feud of 2010 in New York. In New York he cemented himself as a showcase wrestler, elevating the Interbrand Championship to near main event status during his reign. Near the end of 2010 he took time away from professional wrestling again, only wrestling sporadically until 2013 when he rediscovered his passion for the business back in Knoxville. After a contract dispute with the Knoxville territory Frank Washington now looks to continue his career in the northern territory of CanX with The Jokers Wild.
