The day has come! A miracle has happened! Canadian X Pro has reopened it's doors after a time away. The Valour Brothers fought long and hard during a nasty court battle but the dust has settled and the greatest Canadian wrestling is back on the air. And what a resurrection we have coming close to the New Year.
Canadian Classic Christmas is set to air on our direct iPPV feed on CanXPro.com December 22nd and what a classic it's going to be. Canadian X tradition states that we always have some sort of tournament going on to promote one of our Championships. This time around you are looking at the "Legacy Mini". Plain and simple this Tournament has four participants. Autumn Raven, Chelsea Matthews, Eric Paisano and Nikki X will compete in elimination style matches until there are only two wrestlers remaining. Those two will move on to our following show to compete for a shot at the Canadian X Legacy Championship. This week we have Eric Paisano and Nikki X going head to head as well as Chelsea Matthews squaring off against Autumn Raven. At the end of the night, which two superstars will walk out one step closer to a shot at Canadian X gold?
Canadian X fans may be scratching their heads this week. Since when has Canadian X Pro had a Championship called Canadian Xtreme? I think you all need to hear the story behind this Championship to come to terms with a whole new direction available to our superstars. When Dakota Smith walked threw the doors to sign his contract, he brought with him a Championship belt. He had apparently walked out of a former company with it and still held it over his shoulder. I took one look at it, looked back at all my paperwork only to realize the opportunity I had sitting in front of me. I contacted my lawyers, did even more paperwork and next thing you know I branded that Championship and now I have my final singles Championship. Of course that means that Dakota Smith is coming into this as the first ever Canadian Xtreme Champion and that means I want to promote the hell out of this peace of gold. Dakota Smith is set to face Frank Washington one on one in an Xtreme Rules Match. What could be described as the closest to a Death Match as you can get, it is almost a guarantee that this match up could be the bloodiest of the night. One thing is for sure. At the end of the night, neither man could very well be walking out of the arena unassisted. (We take no blame for any bodily harm)
We may be crowning the NEW Canadian X Heavyweight Champion at Canadian Classic Christmas, but we are also going to be focusing in on who the champs first contender is going to be. All three men in this triple threat have gold littered histories. All three have met destiny at one point or another in their careers. The question is which of these three men will go that extra distance and secure their spot in this company as a top contender. Who will take on the Heavyweight Champion in January? Scotty Addams, Jackson and Kaden Kessler will do nothing less than TEAR the roof off of the arena.
John Pariah claimed the Canadian X Legacy Championship right before the unfortunate events in Canadian X earlier in the year. He held onto that Championship even during the dark time and when I called him up asking him if he wanted to continue to defend that championship he jumped on board. There have been sceptics as to the reign of Pariah but he has his chance at Canadian Classic Christmas to prove to everybody watching that he is the TRUE Legacy Champion. He is set to face off against 31 time World Champion from numerous federations in Drew Stevenson. Can this legend live up to his Legacy as he plans to dethrone the current king? I'd sure as hell would like to know.
And our Main Event comes to us bearing a gift as we are so close to Christmas. The flagship match of Canadian X will be making its glorious return as Pat Gordon Jr, Brett Starr and Greyson Blaze will be trapped within that steel cage. Brett Starr and Greyson Blaze made this structure famous last time they stepped foot in it and I have absolutely no doubts that they plan to do the same this time around. But with both men focused on destroying each other, will they have the chance to keep an eye on Pat Gordon Jr? The Indy Legend will go head long between two men that simply hate each other and want nothing more than to injure the other. If you want an example go back and watch our Canadian Tour Finale. One thing is for sure, with no pins and no submissions, this match up is sure to be epic. Only one man will escape the cage and become the NEW CANADIAN X HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
All this and more as we tear the house down in Ottawa Ontario Canada! Stay Tuned. You don't want to miss a minute of the action.
