I decided to come up to the great white north and join Canadian X Pro for one reason only. To become a champion! I have always had this thirst for titles as long as I can remember. Whether it be winning the state title in basketball for my high school and winning the ACC championship for Duke in college. After my basketball career ended, I became a wrestling promoter.
As a promoter I had all the power. I determined the matches and even impacted some of the outcomes. This absolute power would prove to be too much for me. The organization that oversaw my promotion had to bring in my mother Tiffany Chase-Paisano to be a General Manager. Her first move as GM was hiring Sophia Davis, my on again and off again girlfriend to be my assistant.
These changes didn’t work out too well as Tiffany, Sophia, and I all eventually were let go. However, my promotion and organization would soon be gone too not long after. Then I took a 3 year hiatus to clear my head before joining SCW. My experience there was a disaster as I went on a lengthy losing streak. My several defeats in a row derailed any hope I had of contending for a championship there.
So I left SCW and joined FWA which had just started back up again. My career in FWA so far has proven to be successful. I have won many matches including the inaugural main event. But yet again I still have no title around my waist. This is because I have gotten sidetracked in a never ending feud with Riley Addison who is trying to take Sophia away from me.
The third time must be the charm right. I must admit it was not my idea to join CanXPro. It was actually my mother’s idea. I’m starting to believe that she wants me to be a champion even more than I do. My mother is also my manager and I am a client of her Tiffany Talent Management agency.
She believes that CanXPro is going to be the perfect spot for me. I was hesitant at first but now I am in agreement with her. This is because of who I am going up against at the Canadian Classic Christmas on December 22, 2013 in Ottawa, Ontario. Her name is Nikki X but to be honest she looks like a poor man’s Selena Gomez. My match against her is part of a mini tournament for Legacy Championship.
I could not have been happier of how the draw worked out for this tournament. I essentially have a bye into the finals and the other semi-final is between two women. Now I am not a sexist by any means but being the only man in the tournament puts the odds in my favor. But I have learned not to overlook any opponent. Nikki X is all I am focused on right now and my motivation for this match increased greatly when I saw about half of the people were picking her to win.
Do they seriously believe Nikki X can beat me, because there is no way that I am going to let that happen. But I enjoy being an underdog because it makes me train that much harder. What also amped me up for this match was talking to Nikki on Twitter. She said she was going to make me her bitch in the ring which is laughable because a few days later she deleted her Twitter account. Who is the bitch now Nikki?
Beating Nikki at Canadian Classic Christmas is only part one. Part two will be paying close attention to the Chelsea Matthews versus Autumn Raven match. I will be scouting these two and taking good notes. Whoever wins that matchup will only be the next domino to fall in my path. For this path only ends with the Canadian X Legacy Championship around my waist!
