Here she is. The blonde little country girl who was born in Salem, Iowa.
Chelsea Matthews. New to Canadian X. New to Canada.
She has never been this far north. Heck, this may be too much for her to take on, but she was going to give it her all.
Sure, she is nervous as hell. She is before every match.
She has a lot to prove being a Rookie and all. A lot to show.
Show them that they can't knock her down right away.
Show them all what this American Country girl was made of.

Standing in a barn wearing camouflage pants and a matching jacket was Chelsea Matthews. She smiles to the camera, her big blue eyes all doe eyed in awe.

She said with a southern accent. Not overly southern, but enough to have you going "Now, she sounds sweet." Well, maybe not.

Canada is a whole different place. Different in more ways than one. It's not like going from one state to another. I went to a whole new country without even having to leave the continent. Sorry, that notion still amazes me. Hell, this is my first time this far away from home. My first time out of the United States too.
Either way, here I am. Chelsea Matthews. I know I am not what you all expected to see or hear when I signed. But this is me, take it or leave it. No gimmicks here. None needed.
Before I start to bore y'all. I'll get right to it. I am facing Autumn Raven.
She rubs her hands together.

I am really excited about this. You have no idea. I want to give y'all a good show and give Autumn a good match all at the same time. Call it a package deal. I mean after all we are kicking off the night. We are the first match everyone gets to see. Shoot, we better give them one hell of a show to make sure they keep them asses in them seats.
Why?
Because that is what this is all about Autumn. Surely you know that. We got to show the guy who signs the paychecks that we mean business. We're part of the Legacy Tournament. Which is a great opportunity. One I don't intend to let slip through my fingers.
Chelsea smiles to the camera as she shoves her hands in her pockets.

While I may not have a lot to say, I do know that I am mighty flattered with the opportunity that has been handed to me. That being said, I want to earn it. I want to bleed in that ring. I want to walk away with scars. I want to feel like I just rode a pissed off bull who had his nuts wrapped just a little too tight. I want to get stomped on, spit on, bled on and just be in an all out brawl. Where neither of us holds back.
I know that is something you can give me. Well, maybe not the spitting on. That may be a bit too much, but all that other stuff I reckon you can. And then some. I may win this, but either way I want to walk or limp away knowing that Autumn Raven gave me all she has and then some. Leaving no room for errors. Making me earn my keep here in Canadian X.
Showing all of you out there what I am capable of. Proving all of those who doubt me wrong and showing the ones who believe in me that they were right to do so.
Chelsea takes her hands out of her pockets.

She then nods her head to the camera and turns walking off leaving the scene to fade out to black.
