[We fade in on a hotel room, we see a hand move away from the camera, and John Pariah sitting at a desk. He smirks, and turns out of view slightly-showing a Canadian X Pro poster framed and put on the wall. The poster is a hype sheet for the Pariah / Stevenson match-which as everyone knows-is the only match people care about. He turns back to the camera-still with a grin across his face. He slings his Legacy Title over his shoulder and looks hard into the camera.]
JP: I have two of those posters being put up on my ebay account right now. The proceeds will be going directly to Toys for Tots for this years Christmas. I posted the link right here on the bottom of the video for you to see.
[He pauses and smirks.]
JP: So yeah..one of them is sitting at 10 dollars. The other? Add a couple of zeroes to that. Why you ask? Well because the second one is signed by yours truly. So I have two identical posters, posted at the identical time, one is signed by me, and the other isn’t signed by anyone. They are two of a kind items-and the one signed by me is sitting at a little over a grand-with THREE MORE DAYS to go on the auction. Why? Why why why why why?
[He smiles-and sits back-looking toward the ceiling-and than at his Legacy Title.]
JP: I’m sure that’s the question Drew Stevenson is asking himself. It’s because of me. Because contrary to what you want to say Drew. I am the real star. A failure doesn’t have over twenty World Titles on his wall. A failure isn’t unbeaten in Canadian X. Those sound like accolades of someone a little better than that my friend. The only failure I see is you. You hide behind your friends and allies-your Circle Jerk Crew as I like to call them. Me? I stand alone. Not by design-but by choice. I have allies, I have associates, I have my Family-but Drew, I don’t need them to fight my battles for me. I don’t need my brothers, my wife, or my friends to go to war on my behalf. I have them there as my support-but I am the lone knight….as it would appear Andrew-the Golden Knight of Canadian X Pro. Tell me Andrew, what logic is there to someone calling me a failure, when I have earned everything I have own my own.
[He smiles and leans forward.]
JP: I’m a man who stands for honor and justice.
[He looks at his belt and smirks.]
JP: And if that was a botched performance that won me this title-than I hate to see what Brett Starr is to you….either way Andrew-I would rather fail on my own-than ‘suceed’ with a bunch of jokes like you and The Jokers Wild.
[He leans back again-his serious smirk turns to something more playful.]
JP: Andrew we’ve talked back and forth a lot what wrestling means to each of us-and clearly, clearly there is some lack of communication between us. Do I want to perform in high school gyms? No-but I will-because I live and breathe for this sport. This sport has paid for multiple homes, multiple cars-and has paid for my daughters current and future education. Andrew, you are NOT a better wrestler than me, because there isn’t one. This isn’t a gimmick match. This is you and me, straight up-one on one. If you’re a real man, you’ll leave your crew of jackasses backstage-and fight me one on one. After all, I wouldn’t want to see your braindead boyfriends cry when I put you to sleep-like the mangy unkept dog you are.
[His demeanor grows serious, as he stands up. The camera follows him-as he looks out the window. Snow has begun falling, as he watches it cover the concrete of the parking lot.]
JP: Just like you have commitments to FGA, I have my commitments elsewhere-and right now-at least until Christmas Day…my commitment resides to Canadian X Pro, and my focus is you. As far as I’m concerned, as far as the fans are concerned-with no World Champion right now, I am the face of Canadian X Pro. When Angelo fell on hard times, I was the first person there to help him up . When Angelo got back on his feet-I was the FIRST person he called. Andrew-this has little to nothing to do with PWX, it never did. I don’t know where you get your obsessions at, because I am not a deathmatch wrestler. I never claimed to be. I know how hold my own-but my forte is not taking VCRs to the head. My forte Andrew-as Kaden Kessler found out, as Larkyn Matthews found out, as Anthony Pagano found out, as Timothy Hunt knows-and as you will find out in about 72 hours-give or take….is knocking people out. I am a WRESTLER, not a barbarian. I live, to wrestle, and I live to fight. I have survived more injuries, more heartache, and more hardship than your insignificant fucking brain can even fathom!
[He pauses and turns to the camera-focused and determined]
JP: Andrew Stevenson. December 22nd is the day we finally meet in the ring. December 22nd is the day we can all put this petty game of one ups-man-ship aside, and settle our differences the way we were intended to. I may be on borrowed time Andrew, you may just beat me on the 22nd. Plus I promise you that I will not make it easy, and I promise you-will NOT walk out of the Canadian Christmas Classic on your own power. I’m laying the challenge out Andrew, and I have the advantage. You come to the ring like a man-and I will give you the chance to not put your foot in your mouth. I can’t lose the title on a count out, so keep your cronies behind the curtain-and we’ll have ourselves the match of the night. I will end 2013 as a champion-and go into 2014 as a champion, because that’s just what I do Andrew. I’m Canadian X Pro’s Golden Knight. I’m the face of this company-and even on the 23rd-when either Brett Starr, Greyson Blaze or Pat Gordon Junior are the World Champion-I will STILL be the face of this company, and The Jokers Wild will be history. I have full faith that Dakota Smith will obliterate Frank Washington, and there is no doubt in my mind that Brad Jackson will break Scott Addams in two. After that Drew-its you and me, one on one. The Best of the Best vs Mr. Mainstream. On December 22nd-it will be lights out for Drew Stevenson, and it will be Lights Out for The Jokers Wild.
[He pauses, and pats the title belt over his shoulder.]
JP: Now, moving forward-and looking to January. I’m already the face of the company, so I might as well be the champion of the company. So here’s my challenge for 2014. I don’t care who it is. I would love to knock Brett Starr out, and I suppose I should give Greyson Blaze his due. A match between myself at Pat Gordon Jr would tear the building down, as would a match between myself and Mr. Jackson. Kaden Kessler is retired-so he’s a non factor, and if somehow Scott Addams was able to cheat his way and survive being broken in two by the Dark Horse-and perform a miracle by winning the World Title from any of the three aforementioned MEN-than by all means, I would love to put his lights out too. Here’s my challenge. January 14th, Canadian X Pro leaves the artic circle for good old London, England. Champion vs Champion, Best vs Best. Legacy vs World Champion. Angelo Valour-while my fate is mine to decide-the ball is in your court. Andrew, brother, I will see you in Ottawa…..
[He smirks, and pats the belt once more as we fade to black.]
