"Sin City Wrestling? Remind me who they are, would ya?"
Opening the scene we have Scotty Addams who stands in the middle of a ring, surrounded by empty seats as Canadian X gets ready for it's much anticipated return. Scotty had a look on his face that he was none too pleased, more annoyed as he wears his Jokers Wild t-shirt with a leather jacket over it and a black baseball cap with his 'A' logo on it. To some the empty arena in the ring could but a little cliche but for Scotty it was his own personal meditation. It was his way of getting ready for a big match and letting everything just come together. And for all intents and purposes, this was a big match. It was for contendership for Canadian X's heavyweight championship, and Scotty was ready to take it, the contendership and the belt. It just meant going through Jackson and Kessler and that wouldn't be too bad at all.
[Scotty]: Hey, Jackson, let me make something real clear to you right away if you haven't caught the message yet. Who cares about the other companies? Who cares if you're the big dog there? I've never heard of the place so it must not mean that much, eh? But yet on the other hand, here I am, standing with the Jokers Wild.. you know, like the playing cards? I mean yeah, Heath Ledger, god rest his soul, did a great job but you're trying to make a stretch there, pal. You're trying to make that long stretch to the first thing that comes to the top of your mind because you're an idiot. You're a damned idiot and a fool if you think that for one minute we have anything to be associated with a movie, or anything like that. In playing cards, more often than not are wild. They can represent that missing element and that is EXACTLY what we do. But since ya wanna try and break down that fourth wall and talking about politics... there are no politics here. But here's a little fourth wall for ya. See, in a little place down in Knoxville, Tennessee there was a missing element. A missing element for the sport of professional wrestling that their company needed to survive and it led us here. It led us to be PERSONALLY invited over just to spite them because Angelo Valour KNEW what greatness he had on his hands and he knew that we could make Canadian X boom. And guess what? We have. We took to social media to a whole new level. We captured the attention of the audience, we captured the attention of other professional wrestlers. We captured the attention of other COMPANIES that want the Jokers Wild because we're MONEY. So you were personally invited too, right? That's great. But if you think that because you're a 'big fish in a small pond' over there, you need to understand that here, we don't even need the belts to be the top dogs, all we gotta do is have a microphone in our hand and a camera in front of us. Welcome to your rude awakening, bud.
Scotty laughed as he leaned on the ropes, his arms across the top rope.
[Scotty]: Nobody gives a damn about your stupid little monikers, your biblical stance, whether you think it's racist or not.. nobody cares because the only person making a big deal out of it is you. You ARE an underdog, Jackson, but you're not that little cartoon superhero from the 60s, you're not that mild mannered shoe shine boy, but when you're compared to me you're no where near the top. When you're compared to me I am your superior. On this microphone, in the ring, in front of the camera, no matter where I go I'm going to always going to be better than you because there's not a damn thing that you can do that will ever surpass me or the rest of the Jokers for that matter. Don't believe it? When you go to the Canadian X website look over to the right of the website and look at the title reading 'Joker's Wild turns heads.' Or how about you go to the eWscene website and see the same article that they republished. So you're starting to think to yourself that maybe you would have been better off just not even showing up to the event instead of waiting two weeks just to show up forty eight hours before the event. And you have the audacity to try and take shots at Kessler? Man, take your personality disorder ass and get that crap out of here because nobody wants to hear it. Are you british? Are you southern? FIGURE IT OUT, MAN! That or learn proper english, my god. See, that's the problem with people like you, Jackson. You bring something up and then say "we're not here to talk about that." See... there's an inconsistency about you, Jackson. There's a thing about you that doesn't know what you want to do. You don't know where you want to go, or how to approach the situation in front of you. See... we're in this match because obviously at one point or another, the figure heads thought that we all had the talent to compete for contendership while I should be in that championship match. So I guess you've got some props somewhere along the line but just because you've got some props doesn't mean that you're going to even hold a candle to me once that bell rings.
Scotty had walked over to the turnbuckle and sat up on the top, facing inside of the ring and the camera cut around to another camera in the ring staring right at him.
[Scotty]: I don't care about you or anybody else in Canadian X, except for the Jokers Wild. These guys are my brothers and that's why we're taking over. We're taking over to help this company so little fucks like you who can't figure out what they wannna do and name drop people, places, and things... and for those playing along at home, we call those nouns; they either evolve and get with the program or they get the hell out of dodge because they can't hang. And right now with all things considered? Once we take over the show on Sunday I think you'll be the welcome mat. You'll be one of those guys that everybody walks over just to try and get to us because then people could take notice of you. And who knows, maybe that's the talent that I don't see that the figure heads here did, and that's why you're in this match with me. You and Kessler are designed to be the welcome mats for me and my way to the top. This event... this giant whirlpool of success that surrounds the Jokers Wild... it surrounds us because soon enough Canadian X is going to be known as the house that WE built. Not the house that John Pariah or Brett Starr built, but the house that Jokers Wild built. We have shown more passion for this business, more passion for where we come from, more passion for everything that we DO than any of you. And this is why we were born to succeed and you were born to be at our beck and call. We don't do this because we enjoy it.... okay that's a lie, we do enjoy it quite a bit actually, but we do it also because we can. Because we have a love and respect for this business. We've got a respect for Valour for knowing what he has on his hands and treating us like kings. So you name drop some other worthless company one more time and I'm going to take that title that you claim to have and I'm going to shove it so far down your throat you're gonna be shitting leather for a week.
Scotty couldn't help but laugh because he found all of it amusing. He found it amusing that it took Jackson two weeks to come up with a promo that couldn't hold a child's attention if he tried and he was all over the place. He was laughing because Kessler didn't even bother to show up yet.
[Scotty]: This is the last that you'll be hearing from me until it comes to showtime but you're done. You're done, Jackson. You and Kessler have nowhere to go and nowhere to hide and if Brett Starr wins that championship? There's nowhere he'll be able to run either because that belt is coming home with me on Jokers Classic Christmas. And since it's the season of giving... maybe I'll give you a swift kick to the skull to screw it on right. Kessler and Jackson... you've both sealed your own fates and when I'm done with the two of you... whoever wins that title better keep eyes in the back of their heads because I'm coming for you next.
Scotty puts his wrists up making the 'A' for his taunt and the scene fades to black.
