These rules tend to apply for all efeds and this one is no different. Please read through and follow these simple rules when on the boards.
1. Please be respectful in the OOC. Trouble making will be handled accordingly.
2. Results are final. If you are unhappy with losing a match please DO NOT voice this on the boards. Instead please PM and we can talk about it. I am easy to talk to.
3. Please don't recruit for other feds on these boards. If you want to do it the right way with me, bring it up to me first and for most and I may put them in my affiliates board. Without doing that... Banning may occur.
4. Enjoy yourself in our wonderful hobby of ours.
1. I have staff for a reason. They will be assisting me with judging. Basically three of my staff (including myself) will judge the matches. (depending on how many staff I have at any given time will effect how few or many a staff member judges.) We are all looking for quality over quantity.
2. There IS a role play limit cap here as to avoid flooding role plays. During regular shows the role play limit will be 3. During tournaments and events the role play limit will be 3 as well BUT if all opponents in said match max their rps, they will all be allowed to write a fourth . (This also applies to title matches)
3. Role Plays must be at least 12 (twelve) hours apart UNLESS your opponent has sent in a Role Play. Once your role play has been responded to, you may post as you wish.
4. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden here. If that act is done on this board and is found out, the perpetrator WILL be banned from the forum. I'm sorry but that is like a thief at a grocery store.
5. You may not use other members of the roster in your role plays unless you have gotten the handler's permission. Please state that you had permission when you make your post so that we don't assume wrong. First offence will achieve a verbal warning. If it persists, you may be kicked from the roster. (If you have their permission... things work so much more drama free!)
What is quality over quantity in CanX?
That is a good question. In CanX you don't have to write (or read) a novel just to guarantee a win for your match up. What all of our staff in CanX look for in a role play are pretty simple. How much the role play has to do with his/her upcoming match. Match relevance is a major in my books and I openly admit that. I mean your character's love life may be very kinky and interesting, but it has nothing to do with your match. Dig? Anyway. Also, as I said earlier, you don't need to write a novel to achieve success here in CanX. Do as much as what makes you comfortable. If you can get your point across and not be repetitive or ramble in a 5K rp than go ahead. If it keeps the reader captivated and WANT to know what that next word is going to be than you are doing something phenomenal. But if you write a 1300-1500 word rp and it comes off as fantastic and you compare it to a seven page repeataplay. Who do you honestly think deserves to take that win? So THAT is my definition of Quality over Quantity around here. If you have questions... PM ME!
Though they are not mandatory, we would definitely want you to send us your own Segments for the show. Segments will help us develop feuds and story lines which you, the roster want to be apart of. Deadline for segments is Monday by 6:00 AM EST. Again, if you plan on using another wrestler in a segment, make sure they know or are apart of it and make sure that I know this. Please and Thank you.
